Katie Lam (7th July 2026, 7.30pm)

Join us on the 7th July at 7.30pm for a reception with Katie Lam MP.

The evening will include a talk from Ms Lam, Q&A, and the opportunity to enjoy wine & canapes with fellow Gadson Club & OUCA members, at an exclusive central London location (to be revealed to ticket holders).

Ms Lam has been the Member of Parliament for Weald of Kent since 2024. Prior to her election, she worked at Goldman Sachs before becoming a special adviser to Boris Johnson. She has become one of the party's most high-profile MPs, with significant contributions to policy debates on economic growth and immigration since her entry to Parliament.

Tickets to the event are just £25, including hot and cold canapés, red and white wine and soft drinks. As Gadson Club members you are able and encouraged to buy tickets for guests, who do not need to be members of the Club. Since its foundation in 2015, the Gadson Club has hosted a variety of Conservative speakers including Sir Jeremy Hunt, Lord Howard and Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg. Details of all past events can be found here.

The Gadson Garden Party

In Trinity Term the Gadson Club holds a garden party in Oxford. OUCA members are encouraged to attend, and entry is free for students in their final year.
